Summary: Add stylish engraved or embossed text inside your Word 2003 documents.
Looking for another way to add some pizzazz to your Microsoft Word 2003 documents? You may wish to title a page with some engraved or embossed text to make it stand out.
Engraved text looks like the text is carved into the page, while embossed text looks like the text is raised from the page itself.
To add either of these two effects to a block of text:
1. Highlight the text you wish to engrave or emboss.
2. Either select the “Format” – “Font” menu or right-click the selected text and choose “Font” from the pop-up menu.
3. When the “Font” dialog box appears, part of your selected text should appear in the “Preview” Area. Underneath “Effects”, check “Emboss” or “Engrave” as desired.
4. Click “OK” to close the dialog box.
