For example, for business reasons, you may need to print or distribute an Excel spreadsheet free of any special formatting such as colors, fonts, and alignment.
To quickly remove all formatting from cells in an Excel 2007 spreadsheet:
1. Select the cell or cells where you want to remove formatting. Or, press Ctrl + A to select the entire worksheet.
2. Click the “Home” tab in the ribbon at the top of Excel 2007.
3. In the “Editing” group, click on the “Clear” pull-down and select “Clear Formats”.
