Summary: Tired of feeling blue when opening Excel 2007? Use a black or silver color scheme instead.
Changing this option will affect other Microsoft Office 2007 products.
By default, Microsoft Excel 2007 uses a blue color scheme. While you cannot change this scheme to match the color scheme of Windows, you can choose one of two other color schemes – black or silver.
1. Access the Microsoft Excel 2007 Options menu.
2. When the “Excel Options” dialog box appears, select “Popular” in the left pane if it is not selected already.
3. In the right pane, underneath “Top options for working with Excel”, click the “Color scheme” pull-down to choose one of the three available themes.
4. Click “OK” to close the “Excel Options” dialog box.
