Ever need to quickly clear all formatting from a selected group of text in Microsoft Word 2003, including any font changes, colors, text alignment, tabs, etc? Here are three ways to clear text formatting, reverting the format to the "Normal" style. Select the desired text, then either:
A. Select "Edit" - "Clear" - "Formats".
B. In the "Style" pull-down, select "Normal" or "Clear Formatting".
C. Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
Note that if you have changed the formatting of the 'Normal" style, clearing formatting from a group of text will revert such text to whatever formatting is defined as "Normal", even if "Normal" is defined as bolded, 22 point, Impact font aligned right.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then,
return to Microsoft Word 2003 Miscellaneous - Clear Text Formatting.
